‘Design for Living’ was the mantra that was also the starting point for the design journey of this 450 square metres, 4-floor family home. The house was created to embrace the breathtaking views of the sea and mountains in each room. A beautiful, yet highly functional space that worked for all aspects of family life and social gatherings.

The floor planes were carefully designed to distinguish the seasonal needs of the family, who loves to entertain and has many guests during summer. Each floor was zoned to create distinct areas for work, play, family time together, entertain and peaceful time apart.

Bespoke furniture & details including distinctive headboards and lighting details create a warming blend of modern and classical and a strong sense of home. The design throughout this spacious villa celebrates unfettered simplicity.

In the kitchen we focussed heavily on deep royal blue with touches of brass details and warm textured wood juxtaposing happily with the paleness of the cool marble surfaces.

The herringbone ceramic flooring throughout the whole house gives a sharp contemporary look, but the use of multiple shades and bespoke lightning details gives a scattering of warmth and variation throughout, which enhances the relaxed feel of the home.

In the living and bedroom areas natural fabrics such as linen, bouclé, velvet and hide work together, easing from one shade to another within their neutral palette to create a serene, elegant, and welcoming sanctuary.
